Railing Restoration Painter 

Where: Dunoon seafront (starting from the West Bay). 

When: Timings are ad hoc, based on weather conditions and the availability of the trainer. Participate when you are available, without the need to attend every session. Join the WhatsApp group for information about when sessions are arranged. Each session will last up to 3 hours.  

About the Project: The restoration of the Victorian railings taking them back to their former glory.  

Volunteer role: Learn how to clean, prepare and paint the railings under the guidance of a local expert.  

Requirements: To be available at short notice, due to changeable weather conditions. Both daytime and evening sessions will be offered. 

What you will get out of volunteering: Through this role you will be part of a small, friendly working group that will improve the appearance of the seafront in Dunoon through local heritage restoration.  You will practice heritage painting skills and enjoy time outdoors in the fresh air.
